It was established in the year 1989. The school educates and prepares an average of 25 students per academic year to fulfill the needs for nurses of the Institute’s Hospital, the Ministry of Health and other health organizations.  

The animal house is concerned with breeding different strains of experimental animals including big animals e.g. sheep, goats and pigs as well as small animals e.g. mice, hamsters and rabbits. The animal house expanded its scope by constructing an animal surgical lab fully equipped with two operating theatres for performing experimental surgical procedures mainly on liver resection, regeneration and transplantation. …
