Simple preparation approach for human recombinant interferon gamma from Escherichia coli inclusion bodies for bioanalytical studies
Research Type: Research article | Domain: Genetics and Molecular Biology
Publish Type: Published Online
Publish Date: 2026-09-23
Background: Recombinant human interferon-gamma (rhIFN-γ) is a vital biopharmaceutical protein used in immunotherapeutic treatments. While Escherichia coli is the most common and cost effective expression platform, high-level expression typically leads to the formation of insoluble, inactive...
Metallothionein expression in Aspergillus exposed to environmentally relevant concentrations of heavy metals at different pH levels
ScopusResearch Type: Research article | Domain: Environmental pollution and remediation
Publish Type: Published
Publish Date: 2021-05-04
Heavy metal pollution represents a health threat. Many fungal species are capable of tolerating various heavy metals, especially if they are isolated from a contaminated watercourse. One of the mechanisms by which fungi can sequester certain heavy metals is synthesizing stress proteins. The aim of t...
