Asmaa Salah El Din Mohamed Hassan
Dr. Asmaa Salah ElDin is a dedicated researcher specializing in the chemistry of natural products and their biological applications. She currently serves as a researcher in the Medicinal Chemistry Department at the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI) in Giza, Egypt. With a focus on the extraction, isolation, and structural elucidation of bioactive secondary metabolites from medicinal plants, fungi, and marine organisms, Dr. ElDin is advancing the fields of medicinal chemistry and natural product research. Dr. ElDin earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ain Shams University in 2018, where her dissertation centered on the isolation and identification of chemical constituents from Cinnamomum zeylanicum and Psidium guajava, and evaluating their biological activities. Her earlier academic achievements include a M.Sc. in Chemistry (2013) .
