Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Aziz, Acting Director and Chairman of the Board of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI), extends his sincere congratulations to Dr. Eman Sayed Shabrawy Ei-Wakil Assistant Professor in the Parasitology Department and Supervisor of the Institute’s Animal house on obtaining a FELASA-accredited certificate in laboratory animal science. This achievement follows her successful completion of the training course provided by the Egyptian International Foundation for the Development of Laboratory Animal Sciences. As part of the Prime Lab initiative at the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, we continue to provide advanced diagnostic services of the highest quality, supporting physicians and researchers with accurate, rapid results at competitive prices . The Microbiology Department offers VIDAS Immunoassay Testing, which allows for a wide range of analyses related to infectious diseases and markers of bacterial infection in the blood (sepsis), using the latest laboratory diagnostic technologies approved by the FDA globally and under the supervision of a select group of professors and consultants in the department.

As part of strengthening cooperation among national institutions and supporting efforts to develop the infrastructure of healthcare and research organizations, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI), represented by Prof.Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board, signed an agreement with Banque Misr, represented by Mr. Hisham Okasha, Chief Executive Officer, to receive a grant designated for supporting the implementation of the first phase of the Institute's electrical power station development project. This initiative aims to enhance infrastructure efficiency and ensure the sustainability of the Institute's research, medical, and training services.
