Prof. Ahmed El-Raie, Professor of Endemic Diseases, and Hepatogastroenterology, was awarded the French Order of Academic Palms with the rank of Knight (Chevalier).

Prof. Dr. Sanaa Sabet Botros, Professor of Pharmacology received The State Incentive Award in Medical Sciences (Basic – Pharmacology) from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt in1997, and she received The State Appreciation Award in Advanced Technological Sciences Serving Medical Sciences from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt in 2015. ·       

Prof. Dr. Hanan Farouk Saad Khafagy, Former Director of the Institute and Professor of Anesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care received The State Encouragement Award in 2007, and she was honored by the Egyptian Medical Syndicate in 2009.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Acting Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors has received the following Awards: Best Poster Presentation Award at the 14th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery, Paris, France in 2014 and The State Award for Institutions and Individuals in the Field of General Surgery (Prof. Mohamed Fakhry Mekawy Award) in 2013.
