Biography
Zeinab Demerdash, Emeritus Professor of Immunology, is an expert in the field of immunodiagnosis with a distinguished experience in immunodiagnostic kit production focused on diagnosing parasitic infections of medical importance in Egypt. Notably, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Monoclonal Antibodies Production Unit for the Immunology Department at TBRI, serving as a nucleus for the immunodiagnostics kit development. Furthermore, she contributed to the establishment of the Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering Unit, exploring the potential of cell-based regenerative therapy for advanced liver diseases and bowel disorders.
