Research Fields
Experience for 36 years in Malacology and Trematoda especially in the field of:- • Classification and identification of snails. • Laboratory breeding and maintaining of vector snails. • Epidemiology of schistosomiasis and fascioliasis. • Experimental infection of snails and experimental animals with Schistosoma mansoni and S. haematobium. • Biological and chemical control of fresh water snails. • Bioassay screening for schistosomicidal activity.
