Researchers of TBRI present lectures at NRC
A group of research staff members from the institute are taking part in the Third Annual International Cancer Conference, held at the National Research Centre from October 28 to 29, 2025. They include:
Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Dabaa, Vice Head of the Division of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Medicinal Chemistry, who will deliver a lecture titled: “Nanobodies Phage Display Platform for Development of Cancer Targeted Recombinant Biotherapeutial Therapies.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safia Samir, Associate Research Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, who will present a lecture titled: “Urinary Biomarkers Analysis as a Diagnostic Tool for Early Detection of Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma: Molecular Quantification Approach.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hend Okasha, Associate Research Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, who will deliver a lecture titled: “Tracking Waterborne Parasites (Cryptosporidium) Among Egyptian Cancer Patients.”
Dr. Angie Mohsen Abdelmeneam, Assistant Researcher in the Department of Immunology and a member of the Clinical Nutrition Unit, who will present a lecture titled: “The Role of Diet in Cancer Prevention and Management.”
Dr. Mahmoud Rady, Lecturer in the Department of Surgery, who will deliver a lecture titled: “New Technique of Pancreatojejunostomy during Whipple operation for the treatment of Pancreatic Cancer.”
Dr. Mohamed Fathy, Specialist in the Department of Urology, who will present a lecture titled: “Management of Small Renal Tumors.”
The conference brings together an elite group of professors, researchers, and experts from Egypt and around the world. It aims to discuss and showcase the latest research and technologies in cancer diagnosis and treatment, while fostering communication channels between research centers and the medical and industrial sectors.
