Launch of the Summer Internship Program for Medical Students and Fresh Graduates at Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI) – Accredited Credit Hours System
Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Chairman of the Board, the Training Unit at the institute has announced the start of its summer internship program for medical students and fresh graduates. The program is accredited by the American Association for Continuing Education under the credit hours system.
The training courses cover a wide range of clinical and laboratory specialties, including:
Gastroenterology and Hepatology
Endoscopy
Nephrology
General Surgery
Urology
Intensive Care
Anesthesia
Surgical Procedures
In addition to laboratory specialties such as:
Hematology
Immunology
Microbiology
Parasitology
Clinical Chemistry
Biochemistry
Molecular Diagnosis
The program also includes Infection Control, Healthcare Quality, and Clinical Nutrition fundamentals.
Dr. Doaa Desouky, Director of the Training and Research Consultation Unit at TBRI, explained that these courses enable trainees to obtain accredited credit hours and recommendation letters that are essential for their future careers.
She also announced that seats are limited, and special discounts are available for participants coming through educational institutions.
