MoU with the Faculty of Pharmacy – Helwan University

Objective of the Memorandum of Understanding

 

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to partner the Faculty of Pharmacy - Helwan University and Theodor Bilharz Research Institute to work on creating a new generation of researchers in the field of pharmaceutical industries. Creating a new generation of researchers in the field of pharmaceutical industries, seeking scientific progress without compromising environmental elements, as Theodor Bilharz Research Institute is the largest of its kind in Egypt and the region in the field of scientific research and what the two parties to the protocol have the largest of its kind in Egypt and the region in the field of scientific research and what the two parties to the protocol have in terms of training and research tools to achieve this goal and qualify young people of excellence and equipped with the goals of specialized knowledge and skills within a framework of equality, joint cooperation and exchange of special privileges between the two parties.

 

 

Fields of joint cooperation

 

The cooperation between the two parties includes all scientific fields of common interest, in particular:

- Joint research and research projects.

- Exchange of scientists and experts.

- Joint scientific supervision of master's and doctoral theses.

- Training for students at different stages of study (undergraduate and postgraduate).

- Organizing health and awareness convoys to the areas surrounding the two institutions and other areas of need.

- All other forms of cooperation to be agreed upon between the two parties.

 

Exchange of experts

The faculty members of the college may participate in research and scientific activities at Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, and the members of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute may Participate in research and activities within the college when one of the parties needs this and after the approval of the competent authority, provided that each party is treated according to the same rights and duties of the employees of the other party in all aspects except for financial rights.

Conferences, seminars, workshops, scientific meetings, health and awareness convoys

The two parties agreed to organize conferences, seminars, workshops and scientific meetings periodically in various fields of common interest. As well as participating in the organization of health and awareness convoys.

 

Cooperation in the field of clinical pharmacy and therapeutic nutrition

·      The first party trains cadres to work in the units and departments of clinical pharmacy and therapeutic nutrition at the institute, and academically supervises these cadres.

·      Undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in study programs offered by the first party are trained at the hospital affiliated with the second party. The second party also hosts the students of the first party to spend some of the mandatory training courses (internship year).

The period of the MOU

The parties agreed that the validity period of this memorandum shall be five years, to be renewed automatically.
