Theodor Bilharz Institute Celebrates Graduation of the Fifth Class of the Nursing Technical Institute and Affirms Its Leading Role in Preparing Distinguished Healthcare Personnel

In an atmosphere filled with pride and appreciation, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute celebrated the graduation of the fifth class of the Nursing Technical Institute. The special ceremony reflected the institute’s recognition of the vital role of nursing staff and its ongoing commitment to supporting the Egyptian healthcare system by preparing a promising new generation of healthcare providers. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Chairman of the Board; Dr. Omar Sabry, the institute’s Secretary-General; and Dr. Afnan Sarhan, Director of the Hospital, along with a distinguished group of faculty and research staff.

In his opening speech, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz affirmed that Theodor Bilharz Institute spares no effort in preparing a new generation of healthcare providers with the highest levels of competence and professionalism. He emphasized that graduating a new class of nurses is a true contribution to the medical sector, noting that nursing is the backbone of any successful healthcare system. He added that building nursing cadres who are scientifically and ethically qualified is a direct investment in the health of the Egyptian citizen, as investment in human resources is the cornerstone of improving healthcare services.

He further explained that the institute is keen on offering integrated theoretical and practical training that instills values of professionalism, discipline, and ethical commitment. He noted that the graduates of the fifth cohort are an extension of the institute’s mission to produce capable nursing professionals, serving as ambassadors for the institute across various healthcare institutions. He expressed his confidence in the graduates’ ability to represent the institute honorably, reflecting the quality of training and preparation they have received.

The ceremony also included delightful artistic performances by the Nursing School Choir, featuring patriotic and spirited pieces that added an atmosphere of joy and pride among attendees. The event witnessed the honoring of outstanding students in recognition of their dedication and academic and practical excellence — a tribute to their efforts throughout their years of study and an incentive for them to continue their journey of service and success in the healthcare field. Members of the teaching staff from the Ministry of Education and the Imbaba Technical Health Institute were also honored, along with all staff of the Nursing Technical Institute who contribute to the educational process, in addition to several research staff members from Theodor Bilharz Institute who helped enhance the students’ competencies.

The ceremony was meticulously organized by the administration of the Nursing Technical Institute, led by Mrs. Enshrah Suleiman, Director of the Nursing Technical Institute, ensuring a celebration befitting the students’ efforts and aligned with the institute’s standards of quality and discipline. This contributed to presenting the event in a manner that reflects the institute’s stature and its commitment to providing a distinguished model in nursing education.
