In a gracious gesture, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Aziz, Acting Director of TBRI Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors , honored the distinguished professors: Prof. Dr. Taghreed Gaafar, Professor of Clinical Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy; Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abady, Head of the Department of Medical Chemistry and former Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, German University in Cairo; and Prof. Dr. Osama Badary, Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, and Advisor to the Institute Director for Pharmaceutical Affairs. The distinguished professors had served as external experts on the Council of the Immunology and Therapeutic Evaluation Division for four consecutive years.

Members of the Immunology and Therapeutic Evaluation Division, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Eman El-Ahwany, expressed their deepest appreciation and gratitude to the distinguished professors, who enriched the Division Council over the course of four years and generously shared their extensive knowledge and expertise, providing scientific and research support to all members of the Division, including the Departments of Immunology, Parasitology, and Pharmacology.

Prof. Dr. Eman El-Ahwany, Head of the Division, expressed her great pleasure with the period during which the Division Council was honored to have such an outstanding group of distinguished scientists. She emphasized that they generously contributed their knowledge and expertise, which had a significant impact on achieving a qualitative advancement in the Division’s research output. She also highlighted their sincere efforts in supporting researchers from the Division in securing funded research projects from the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF).

For his part, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Aziz expressed his appreciation for the genuine efforts made by the distinguished professors, who devoted the wealth of their scientific and academic experience to the Division in particular and to the Institute in general. Their contributions extended far beyond their membership of the Division Council, as they delivered valuable lectures during the Institute’s successive scientific meetings and annual conferences over the four-year period. They also spared no effort in providing scientific and technical consultations to the Institute’s administration in relevant fields.

The distinguished professors, in turn, expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Aziz, Director of the Institute, for honoring them and highlighting the value and impact of engaging external experts in advancing the Institute’s work, as well as their active role in guiding and stimulating the Institute’s research and innovation activities. They also commended his evident efforts to advance the Institute at both the research and medical levels, affirming their desire to maintain strong ties of cooperation with the Institute and their continued readiness to participate in its various activities.
