TBRI Call for Research Projects 2025

Call for Proposals
(The first of October, 2025)
Deadline for submission is November 30, 2025

Research Project Committee (RPC) invites TBRI researchers to submit their proposals in one of the following themes:

I. Hepatobiliary, pancreatic and gastrointestinal diseases
II. Renal and urological diseases
III. Metabolic disorders and malignancies
IV. Emerging pathogens
V. Recent trends in environmental health
VI. Tropical and parasitic diseases
 

The following items should be taken into account in the submitted proposals: -

-    The proposal is a research project in one of the above-mentioned fields.

-    Projects will be evaluated and selected based on several key criteria, including the originality and clarity of the project idea, the level of innovation it demonstrates, and its potential for practical application. 

-    The total budget of the project must not exceed 300 thousand pounds.   

-    The budget is to be disbursed in two unequal installments:

     * The first installment: up to a maximum of 60% of the total budget.

     * The second installment: 40% of the total budget.

-    The Principal Investigator must not have any ongoing research projects at the time of submission.

-    A researcher may only submit one research proposal, whether as a Principal Investigator (PI) or a Co-PI.

-    A researcher may not be involved in more than three ongoing research projects at the same time.

The closing date for proposal submission is November 30, 2025.
