National Partnership Between Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Banque Misr
As part of strengthening cooperation among national institutions and supporting efforts to develop the infrastructure of healthcare and research organizations, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI), represented by Prof.Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board, signed an agreement with Banque Misr, represented by Mr. Hisham Okasha, Chief Executive Officer, to receive a grant designated for supporting the implementation of the first phase of the Institute's electrical power station development project. This initiative aims to enhance infrastructure efficiency and ensure the sustainability of the Institute's research, medical, and training services.
This collaboration reflects the national role played by state institutions in supporting the healthcare and scientific research sectors by providing the foundations for sustainable development.
Such efforts contribute to improving the quality of services delivered to citizens while strengthening the capacity of research and healthcare institutions to fulfill their missions with greater efficiency.
The electrical power station development project is considered one of the Institute's vital infrastructure initiatives. It is designed to enhance the efficiency of the Institute's core facilities, keep pace with its ongoing modernization plans, and provide an advanced working environment that supports research activities, medical and diagnostic services, while meeting the needs of researchers, healthcare professionals, and patients alike.
In his remarks, Prof.Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz stated that the signing of this agreement reflects the confidence placed in Egypt's national research and healthcare institutions and highlights the importance of partnering with Banque Misr as one of the country's leading models of corporate social responsibility. He added that the grant represents meaningful support for the Institute's efforts to upgrade its infrastructure, thereby enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of its research and medical services in accordance with the highest quality standards.
