As the new academic year begins, and recognizing that healthy nutrition is the foundation of healthy growth, concentration, and academic achievement, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI), under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board, is organizing an educational awareness day entitled: “School Nutrition: Towards a More Informed and Healthier Generation”

Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors, extends his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Professor Dr. El-Sayed Ibrahim Kandil on the occasion of the renewal of confidence in his leadership as President of Capital University.

In a move aimed at fostering scientific awareness among the youth and embracing initiatives that build a technology-savvy generation, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute has joined the "Children's University" program. This initiative a prominent platform for scientific research and technology allows children to gain early exposure to various fields of scientific knowledge and discover their creative talents.

In celebration of World Patient Safety Day, observed annually on September 17, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI) organized a scientific and awareness-raising event under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors. The event was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee with the aim of raising awareness of patient safety concepts and promoting practices that contribute to the provision of safe healthcare. It also provided patients and healthcare professionals with a range of guidance and recommendations related to patient safety.

As part of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute’s ongoing efforts to promote interdisciplinary integration across medical specialties, the Institute organized a joint scientific day bringing together the Clinical Nutrition Unit and the Department of Hepatogastroenterology. The event aimed to highlight the vital role of clinical nutrition in patient care and the importance of incorporating early nutritional assessment and intervention into treatment plans, thereby contributing to improved quality of healthcare services provided to patients.
