As part of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute’s commitment to raising scientific awareness of climate change and environmental sustainability issues, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Acting Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Environmental Research Department, headed by Prof. Dr. Marwa Tamim, organized a scientific lecture entitled “Carbon Footprint and Strategies for Reducing Carbon Emissions.”

In a new affirmation of the scientific expertise and advanced training capabilities of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI), the WISE Egyptian Chapter 2026 – WEO International School of EUS successfully concluded its activities.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Aziz, Acting Director and Chairman of the Board of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI), extends his sincere congratulations to Dr. Eman Sayed Shabrawy Ei-Wakil Assistant Professor in the Parasitology Department and Supervisor of the Institute’s Animal house on obtaining a FELASA-accredited certificate in laboratory animal science. This achievement follows her successful completion of the training course provided by the Egyptian International Foundation for the Development of Laboratory Animal Sciences. Wishing her continued success and excellence.

As part of the Prime Lab initiative at the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, we continue to provide advanced diagnostic services of the highest quality, supporting physicians and researchers with accurate, rapid results at competitive prices . The Microbiology Department offers VIDAS Immunoassay Testing, which allows for a wide range of analyses related to infectious diseases and markers of bacterial infection in the blood (sepsis), using the latest laboratory diagnostic technologies approved by the FDA globally and under the supervision of a select group of professors and consultants in the department.
