As part of the comprehensive development plan underway at Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, and within a series of successive achievements aimed at improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of healthcare services, the institute’s administration continues to implement its ambitious projects on the ground. In this context, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board, inaugurated the Economic Accommodation and Organ Transplantation Wards after the completion of extensive renovations and upgrades. The works were carried out under his patronage and supervised by the Development Committee headed by Professor Dr. Ahmed Azzam. This step reflects the administration’s commitment to hands-on follow-up of the development plan and to raising the standard of medical services provided to patients. The renovations included the reopening of 11 fully equipped rooms, designed to offer patients premium hotel-style accommodation.

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the healthcare system and raise the level of services provided, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Asius Company, specialized in preparing healthcare institutions for accreditation. A group of research staff members from the institute are taking part in the Third Annual International Cancer Conference, held at the National Research Centre from October 28 to 29, 2025

Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI) Participates in organizing the Egyptian Society of Electron Microscopy Conference 2025, in collaboration with Tanta University, and Assiut University. The conference will be held from October 13 to 15, 2025, at Dr. Ahmed El-Garem Hall, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute. The conference will be held under the theme: "Role of Electron Microscopy in Enlightening the Invisible"

Prof. Ahmed Abdelaziz, Director of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI) and Chairman of the Board of Directors, welcomed Prof. Hossam Osman, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and Scientific Research. Prof. Osman attended the Institute’s Board of Directors meeting, after which he delivered an important lecture on the National Strategy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
