• الدورات التدريبية في إجراءات وحدة العناية المركزة المختلفة مثل: إدخال الخط المركزي ، الانابيب الحنجرية ، رسم  القلب.
•  الدورات التدريبية فى التعامل مع معدات مختلفة في وحدة العناية المركزة مثل. موجات فوق صوتيةللقلب ومضخات الحقن واجهزة التنفس الصناعى.
•  دورات تدريبية تعنى بالحالات الحرجة المحالة من أقسام المستشفى المختلفة والتعامل مع أنواع مختلفة من الصدمات واحتشاء عضلة القلب وفشل الجهاز التنفسي وفشل القلب وعدم توازن الكهارل.
• الدورات التدريبية تعنى بالحالات الحرجة بعد الجراحة ومضاعفاتها من تخصصات مختلفة مثل:

1. 1.  الجراحة.
   2.  جراحة المسالك البولية.
   3.  أمراض الجهاز الهضمي والكبد.
   4.  امراض الكلى.

•  التدريب المستمر للتمريض و الأطباء على مكافحة العدوى في وحدة العناية المركزة.
• محاضرات دورية ولقاءات علمية للاطباء المقيمين والأطباء.
• برامج تدريبية دورية لكادر التمريض والعاملين فيه من أجل تحسين مستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمرضى.
• تقرير صباحي يومي لمناقشة تقدم حالة المرضى وفعالية العلاج.
• قبول وخروج المرضى وإحالتهم بمواعيد يومية عند الطلب لحالات الطوارئ.

• الأنشطة الروتينية

1. إدارة المرضى البالغين الذين يعانون من المرض ، واضطراب الجهاز القلبي الوعائي (حالات MI الحادة ، الذبحة الصدرية غير المستقرة ، عدم انتظام ضربات البطين الخبيث ، الوذمة الرئوية الحادة).
2. مراقبة ومنع حدوث مضاعفات في المرضى ذوي الخطورة العالية الذين يخضعون لعمليات جراحية كبرى.
3. إدارة المرضى المصابين بالغيبوبة.
4. إدارة المرضى الذين يعانون من الفشل الكلوي الحاد.
5. إدارة الإنتان الجهازي المتقدم.
6. إدارة المرضى الذين يعانون من اعتلالات التخثر أو النزيف غير المنضبط.
7. إدارة الفشل الكبدي.
8. استشارة المرضى الداخليين والطوارئ.
9. التغذية في وحدة العناية المركزة.
10. عمل الموجات فوق الصوتية للقلب للمرضى ذوي الحالات الحرجة للمساعدة في التشخيص والإدارة ولتقييم المرضى قبل الجراحة وللمرضى من العيادات الخارجية.
