تهدف الإستراتيجية البحثية لقسم بحوث البيئة إلى إجراء البحوث المتعلقة ببيئة المياه العذبة، و تشمل الخطة البحثية العديد من التطبيقات البيولوجية البيئية الحديثة مثل إستخدام الكائنات الحيه من نباتات و بكتيريا وفطريات وطحالب و أسماك في دراسات بيولوجيا بيئة المياه العذبة كأحد مسببات أمراض الكبد و الكلى فى مصر، و كذلك دراسة تأثير التغيرات البيئية و المناخية على التنوع البيولوجى للكائنات المائية و إنتشار الأمراض البيئية. كما تهدف الخطة الإستراتيجية إلى الإعتماد على التقنيات الحديثة مثل النانوتكنولوجي فى التطبيقات البيئية. كما تسعى الإستراتيجية إلى ربط الأبحاث الحديثة و المشاريع التى يتم إجراؤها بالبيئة و المجتمع و محاولة ربطها بالصناعة من خلال مخرجات بحثية تطبيقية.

دراسة تأثير إدارة البيئة والمياه على انتقال أمراض المياه العذبة. استخدام العوامل البيولوجية في تقليل تلوث المياه العذبة وتحسين المبيدات الحيوية من خلال الارتباط ببعض المواد النانوية. استخدام تطبيقات النانو البيئية للكشف عن تلوث المياه الكيميائي والبيولوجي ومعالجته.

  1. تحديد الظروف البيئية المثلى للوقاية من الأمراض التي تنقلها المياه.
  2. مسح المجاري المائية للكشف عن انتشار مسببات الأمراض في مصر.
  3. تقييم وتحسين نشاط المبيدات الحيوية ضد مسببات الأمراض.
  4. دراسة تأثير التغيرات البيئية والمناخية على التنوع البيولوجي للكائنات المائية وانتشار الأمراض المرتبطة بالمياه.
  5. التعاون مع المؤسسات المختلفة داخل وخارج مصر في التدريب والبحوث المتعلقة بالوقاية من الأمراض البيئية.

  1. تهدف استراتيجية البحث الخاصة بقسم البحوث البيئية إلى إجراء البحوث المتعلقة ببيئة المياه العذبة. تتضمن خطة البحث العديد من التطبيقات البيولوجية البيئية الحديثة ، مثل استخدام الكائنات الحية من نباتات وبكتيريا وفطريات وطحالب وأسماك في دراسات بيولوجيا بيئة المياه العذبة كأحد أسباب أمراض الكبد والكلى في مصر.
  2. دراسة تأثير التغيرات البيئية والمناخية على التنوع البيولوجي للكائنات المائية وانتشار الأمراض البيئية.
  3. تهدف الخطة الإستراتيجية إلى الاعتماد على التقنيات الحديثة مثل تقنية النانو في التطبيقات البيئية.

  6. دراسة تأثير تلوث المياه على البيئة المائية والكائنات الحية.

دراسات أبحاث البيولوجيا البيئية:

  1. الكشف عن الملوثات البيولوجية في المجاري المائية المختلفة لتحديد أماكن إنتشار الأمراض المنقولة بالمياه.
  2. دراسة الكائنات الحية في البيئة المائية مثل النباتات واللافقاريات والبكتيريا والفطريات والطحالب والأسماك كمؤشر للملوثات.
  3. المعالجة الحيوية لملوثات المياه.
  4. دراسة تأثير التغيرات البيئية والمناخية على التنوع البيولوجي للكائنات المائية وإنتشار الأمراض البيئية.

دراسات تطبيقات النانوتكنولوجى البيئية:

  1. تصنيع المواد النانوية الآمنة بيئيًا.
  2. إختبار دور بعض المواد النانوية في كشف ومراقبة تلوث المياه البيولوجي (البكتيريا والفطريات والطفيليات) والكيميائي (المعادن الثقيلة والمبيدات).
  3. تقييم بعض المركبات النانوية لمعالجة المياه لإعادة استخدامها.

تحسين بعض المبيدات الحيوية من خلال الارتباط ببعض المواد النانوية.
